Ealing Eagles 10k
Unfortunately due to the works taking place in Gunnersbury Park, the Eagles 10km will not be taking place in May 2017.
We are hoping that we will be able to stage an alternative event towards the end of the year but this is entirely dependant on the schedule of future works in the park, which is yet to be completely determined.
The club appreciates how well received the 10k has been in previous years and we are looking forward to holding it in the not too distant future, and we would like to thank the 10k organising committee who have been working very hard on the event to date.
The Ealing Eagles 10k has been staged every May since 2011. An open race to all runners of all abilities from anywhere, the race is a scenic and flat 10k route which takes in laps of Gunnersbury Park. The course has definite PB potential, and all finishers receive a goody bag and a medal individual to each year. Secure baggage storage, water stations and free photo downloads are all provided. The nearest tube stations to the event are Acton Town or South Ealing and we do recommend that public transport is used as there is limited parking at Gunnersbury Park.
Our flagship race continues to grow every year, with 575 runners taking part in the 2016 event. 34 different running clubs were represented including several of our local neighbours from West 4, ESM and Clapham Chasers but also runners from as far afield as York, Southampton, Cardiff, Norwich and Leighton Buzzard!
