Joining
Ealing Eagles Running Club is a friendly club of adult runners of all standards from beginners through to experienced marathon runners.
If you are interested in joining in, you can simply complete the online registration form.
Feel free to come along to one of the midweek training sessions to meet a few of the members and organisers. If you have any other questions, then contact us.
The Annual Membership Fee for 2013/2014 is £20 (including £10 England Athletics Affiliation Fee).
- Weekly training sessions
We have regular training runs on Mondays and Wednesdays offering a 3.5 or 4.5 mile route option. In addition, we also offer coached interval sessions on a Thursday evening and for those wanting to increase their distance, there are longer 8+ miles on Saturday and Sunday.
-
Coaching
We have two qualified level 3 coaches on hand to give hints and tips and can help you devise a training plan whatever your goals may be. There are also several 'Leader in Running Fitness' run leaders in the group available to offer advice.
-
Racing
The club enter teams in many great events including Sunday XC League (FREE), Summer League (£1) as well as offering subsidised transport to popular events like the Reading Half Marathon.
-
Club Socials
We are a very sociable club! The first Wednesday of every month is our regular 'club social' after the club run, held at The New Inn on South Ealing Road. A great opportunity to meet your fellow runners over a pint. There's also a 5% discount for club members at the club social. Having a very active Facebook page also means that other social events (such as the odd pub crawl!) are usually organised from time to time.
-
England Athletics membership and competition license
This year, your membership fee includes automatic affiliation to England Athletics unless you are already a member via another club. Membership to EA and club affiliation comes with a variety of benefits in its own right.
- Public liability insurance for club officials, leaders, coaches and members
- Reduced fees for road races
- Discounts on products such as £5 sweatshop voucher
- Competition opportunities
- London marathon allocated club places.
The club is operated on a not-for-profit basis and is affiliated to England Athletics.
