Motivation for a newbie anyone?

Heya,

I have recently moved to London from Australia and the lack of exercise has gotten to me a lot worse than i thought it would. I am trying to motivate myself into running as my dad is a big fan of it and is constantly trying to get me into it. and it seems the easiest and most basic way to get fit while im here..Any tips for me as i am not the biggest fan of running (in public) but once im out there its ok, its just getting into the routine of it that seems to be the hardest part for me.
