Running for Charity

We are contacted a lot by organisations asking if our club members would like to run for their charity. Please note that we add charities to this list after doing preliminary online checks for their registered status etc, however all contact and deciding to run for any of the charities is member's own decision and these charities are not considered to be affiliated with the club. We also do not get updated when all places have been filled, so please be aware that some of the opportunities may be filled without our knowledge.

London Marathon

Rebecca from Afghanaid contacted us regarding places for the 2018 London Marathon. They are a British charity that works in Afghanistan providing humanitarian assistance in some of the most remote parts of the country. There is a fundraising target of £1,500 with a £50 registration fee. London Marathon

Robert from The Nehemiah Project contacted us regarding places for the 2018 London Marathon. The Nehemiah Project is a charity that rebuilds & restores the lives of the men with addictions, through homelessness or who are often ex-offenders. They provide supported housing programmes that help residents address their addictions, learn about motivation, self-care & living skills, to improve their mental & physical health, managing money, build relationships, & ultimately gain employment & rebuild their lives. London Marathon

Serena from registered children’s disability charity KIDS contacted us regarding places for the 2018 London Marathon. They offer a comparatively low fundraising target and registration fee and provide VIP treatment for all our team members. Brighton Marathon

St. John's School and College based in Kemptown, Brighton, & Firle Road, Seaford, is looking to fill 10 Brighton Marathon 2018 places.

All we ask is that you try your hardest to raise £750 via a Just Giving page to support our amazing young people. 

We will work with you every step of the way to achieve your fundraising goal and help with training too! 

Last year, with just 6 runners, we raised over £4,600 for young people with learning disabilities, special needs, communication difficulties and rare diagnoses.
