First Ealing Eagles barefoot run followed by hill session on Thurday - NB: Group run and not coach-led training session!
Ealing Eagles is a road running club, but for the first time a barefoot running session is on offer. A note of warning, however to the uninitiated: this session is not led by a qualified coach, so participants are expected to have a working knowledge of managing the risks of this running as in any group run.
The idea will be to run 10 to 15 minutes on soft grass to get a feel for running fully barefoot, followed by a short discussion between barefoot practitioners about the benefits, downsides... followed by a hill session if you are still up for a more substantial run.
