Up Coming Races
As the Autumn marathon season approaches many of our runners are entering pre-marathon races.
Maidenhead Half Marathon
First up for the club is the Maidenhead half on the 4th of September where we hope to have a strong Ealing Eagles contingent. If anyone who isn't running fancies themselves as a photographer for the day then contact any committee member for more details.
Chiswick 10km
Two weeks later on the 18th of Sept we will have many Eagles running in the Chiswick 10km which starts in Chiswick Business Park opposite Gunnersbury station, This is an excellent opportunity to promote our club locally, We expect to see Eagles vests out in force on the day. Those who still havent entered can register at http://www.yellowumbrelladay.com/register.lasso
Our monthly summer Wednesday 10miler is now brought forward a week to allow a taper for members doing the Maidenhead half, as the nights draw in
we will commence this run on Wednesday the 24th of August at the earlier time of 7pm.
Tail Running - Volunteering
Its great to see many members volunteering as tail runners for our Monday and Wednesday runs, to make the process simplier we have set up a logging system on our website http://www.ealingeagles.com/tailrunner-scheduleIdeally members should only have to tail run 2 or 3 times per year, we will now be able to see who has been avoiding volunteering! Please put your name down whenever you can.
