Christmas is coming, the Eagles are getting fit

alan Just a quick update on the festivities we have planned.
Club Social - Wednesday 30th November, New Inn
The December social will take place a week earlier than expected on Wednesday 30th November at The New Inn, from 8:30pm.
These regular events are a great way to relax post-run and chat to fellow members.
Santa Suit Collection
Santa Suits are still available to buy online.
If you've ordered a Santa Suit it is suggested that you collect it in advance of the Santa Run so you can adjust the length of the trousers and customise/accessorise as desired.
The Santa Suits are "one size fits all" with a drawstring waist and come with a thin plastic belt, but you will probably want to wear one of your own belts over the suit.
Wednesday 30th November - Ealing Eagles Social (The New Inn)
Santa suits will be available at the Ealing Eagles Social in The New Inn (from 8:45pm)
Saturday 3rd December - Gunnersbury parkrun
Santa suits will be available from the Cafe after the parkrun (from 9:30am)
If you cannot make one of these events to collect your santa suit, it will be available for you to collect on the morning of the Santa run prior to the parkrun start (8:30am)
Santa Run - Route confirmation
The 2011 Ealing Eagles Santa Run will take place after the Gunnersbury parkrun on Saturday 10th December 2011. The Route has now been confirmed.
This free event is open to members and guests of members to enjoy.

08:30 Meet to collect Santa Suits before the Gunnersbury parkrun (if you haven't already collected your suit)
09:00 Gunnersbury parkrun (5km)
09:30 Tea & Mince Pies at the cafe in Gunnersbury Park
10:15 Santa Run (part II), a 5km Route from Gunnersbury Park to The New Inn, taking in Gunnersbury Park, Ealing Common, Ealing Broadway, Walpole Park & Lammas Park.
11:00 New Inn for more tea & mince pies (good preparation for the Ealing Eagles Christmas Party)
Christmas Party
There is still time to buy advance tickets for the Christmas Party for only £5. We've got a great evening planned and have secured a late license to 1am. We will also be providing some nibbles to help you last the distance.
BUY CHRISTMAS PARTY TICKETS (£5)
The Annual Awards presentation will take place during the evening in addition to the ballot for our VLM places.
Interval Training
Just in case you thought that we didn't do any training, Interval Training is continuing to be a popular session and following on from our track debut we will be visiting Perival Track every other Thursday.
