Sunday Training Sessions
Weekend Training takes place each Sunday at 09:00 and 12:30 and offers 10 miles or more around Ealing, Kew, Richmond & Thames Path. This is ideal training for those runners wanting a bigger challenge or as training for a half-marathon or marathon. Typically these sessions have runners from 7:00min/mile to 11:00min/mile.
Where we have a group of members running in marathons, the need for extra mileage is often incorporated into the Sunday training sessions.
One of the more popular routes is a 10 mile lap to Kew Bridge, along the Thames to Richmond and back through Syon Park and Brentford into Ealing.
If you are interested in joining us on a Sunday, just turn up shortly before the start time at the usual meeting place.
Occasionally on race days & bank holidays the Sunday runs will not be scheduled as normal. Check out the Facebook Group for the latest information.
Please contact us if you would be willing to help organise future Sunday training runs.
