Club charities
As a club, Ealing Eagles supports one or more charities with fundraising activities during the year. The membership were recently asked to suggest charities for the club to support and will be supporting the following charities for at least the next twelve months (to at least April 2024).
A Mile in Her Shoes (AMIHS) - we will continue to support this charity in memory of Rob Willin (Rob Eagle) who died in early 2023.
Ealing Abbey Counselling Service (EACS) - many Eagles suggested a local charity focused on mental wellbeing would be their choice
Both are fantastic charities and we look forward to raising funds and awareness for them as a club.
A tradition has grown up of Ealing Eagles organising a Santa Run in December each year and we use this fundraising activity to support the following charity who work with the homeless.
Individual Eagles
Quite a few Eagles use their running to do fundraising for different charities, particularly at London Marathon. If you would like your fundraising page to be advertised here so that other Eagles can find it, please email comms@ealingeagles.com with details.
