Charities & Fundraising
As a club, the Ealing Eagles actively support local causes through fundraising activities. Following suggestions from our membership, the club officially supports the following key charities.
Official Club Charities
What they do: The local mental health charity covering Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow. Their mission is to ensure no one faces a mental health problem alone, offering services for adults as well as children and young people (aged 5–25).
Key Initiative: They recently launched The Circle in Ealing—a crisis café where young people in need of immediate support can drop in for on-site care when feeling overwhelmed.
What they do: The non-profit community arm of the Ealing Half Marathon (EHM). Their mission is to design and deliver local projects that encourage physical activity and general wellbeing across the borough.
Annual Festive Fundraising
Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter (ECWNS)
The Event: Each December, the club hosts its traditional Santa Run.
The Cause: All funds and awareness raised from this festive event directly support ECWNS in their vital work assisting the homeless community.
Support Fellow Eagles
Many individual members use their running milestones—particularly the London Marathon—to raise money for various personal causes.
