Welcome to Ealing Eagles Running Club
Ealing Eagles Running Club is a friendly and social running club in Ealing, founded in 2009 for runners and joggers of all standards, from beginners and novices to expert racers, in the Ealing, Perivale, Greenford, Hanwell, Northfields, Brentford & Acton areas.
Our Weekly Schedule
Monday, 19:30 - 3 and 5 mile options through the parks in Summer and on the roads in Winter
Wednesday, 19:30 - 3 and 5 mile options through the parks in Summer and on the roads in Winter. Please note that on the first Wednesday of each month from May until September, the run is replaced by a 5km Handicap, meeting instead in Gunnersbury Park.
Sunday, 9:00 - Long Run - Longer run (8+ miles), ideal for those wanting to prepare for a marathon or half-marathon or to build up their endurance.
There are always plenty of members of different standards at the sessions, so that runners and joggers of all paces will be able to find some fellow runners to train with. All sessions are led by experienced runners or coaches, so just pick and choose which sessions you'd like to join.
Club members organise occasional, informal runs. The best way for paid-up members to find out when these are taking place is to keep tabs on our Facebook group page.
Trail Don't Bail - 12 miles through parks, trails and canal towpaths, including an optional jaunt up Horsenden Hill. When it takes place, it usually begins at 10am on Saturday.
Sunday 12.30pm - a 10-mile route through parks and along the Thames for those who like a lazier start to the day.
Ealing Eagles Beginners Groups have operated several times per year as an ideal place for new runners or those coming back to running after a long break to train with confidence in a friendly environment. We currently have a long waiting list for places.
The meeting point for our regular sessions is on Ealing Green at the junction of Mattock Lane & Bond Street (opposite Cafe Rouge). Interval Training (Thursday) and Track (Tuesday) have a varied meeting point depending on the session and season. Check the individual pages for more detailed information.
