Weeks 9 & 10

Week 9

This was a good running week. Did clubs runs and hills. Managed a decent 12 on the Saturday incorporating parkrun. Did 19 on the Sunday using the Richmond Park half as the base. Halfway in the training and all was looking good.

Week 10

This was literally a bit of a crap week.

Tuesday was feeling a bit iffy so skipped track. Decided to run 5 miles before work on Wednesday but only managed 3. My stomach decided to play up so had to cut the run short. Didn't even contemplate doing club run. Thursday evening had planned a 10 mile run but I think I managed about 0.25 before having to turn back. Did plan to do the parkrun at Denbies followed by the Leith Hill half to do 20 miles but could not trust my stomach. Instead I ran Gunnersbury parkrun. First half was gentle to test the body followed by a much faster 2nd half. Managed to do 10 miles on Sunday with no issues.

On the negative side only managed 18 of my planned 50 miles. On the plus side managed to complete 400 parkruns but not quite where I planned it. Plus I lost a bit of weight unintentionally. Plus didn't lose any miles due to a running injury.
